I'm Kristen L., the breeder behind Periwinkle Pomskies located in Auburn, WA. I am a huge animal lover and have a special place in my heart for all my dogs. I provide top-quality beloved companions. Health testing and temperament are the basis of my program and I treasure each puppy I produce and will happily take back any of my babies at any point in their life. I emphasize solid genetics paired with early stimulation and socialization so that our puppies can leave my home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family! In addition to raising Pomskies I train dogs professionally and enjoy trialing my border collie mix in different dog sports.

Why did you start breeding?
I used to work at a reproductive veterinary office and fell in love with the puppy process. It was amazing to see the love and dedication that the breeders had for their babies and I knew that I wanted that to be me.What makes your program special?
We adhere to the same health testing standards as purebred preservation breeders. All of our pomskies are health tested according to breed club standards for both huskies and Pomeranians. We believe that health and temperament come first.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“Puppy purchase price includes first set of vaccinations, vet check, microchip, deworming, puppy starter pack, training support, and health guarantee. Deposit holds your puppy. Puppy choice in a litter is given in order of receipt of deposit.”

Sangi (Sangiovese but we call him Shrimp in real life) is our class clown. He’s wiggly, always happy, loves to give kisses and especially loves kids. He gets along easily with dogs and cats. He’s a five star hiker and even likes to swim. Since he’s small we travel with him a lot. He’s been to France, Switzerland and Italy so far!

Capri is a reserved and family oriented girl. She’s calm and quiet and loves her time at home relaxing. On hikes she sniffs and takes in the scenery at her own pace. She’s chill about pretty much everything and while the other pups party in the water she prefers standing in it and hanging out. Peeps does well with cats and kids, and has a quiet intelligence that borders on judgy at times 😂

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Kristen was great, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. You can tell she loves what she does. My daughter has chosen the name Lumi for our precious pup. It is Finnish for snow. Lumi is already responding to her name and loves playing with our boy morkie Finn. We are working on potty training as she does not like the weather, but she's adapting. She's just a sweet and loving little dog and loves cuddles.
