Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

My in-laws have been breeding Poodles and Cavaliers for ages, so when I got married, I started working for them. Helping them with their breeding program really made me fall in love with all the dogs and puppies, as well as the customers! They’ve taught me so much about safe breeding practices and top-notch care. I’m so grateful to be able to help others make their puppy dreams come true!
  • What makes your program special?

I’m a small breeder who takes great pride in providing top-notch breeding by keeping all our dogs in our loving home. Each dam, sire, and their puppies are treated like royalty, receiving all the love and attention they deserve. Trust me, your puppies will be spoiled rotten when they come home!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include red, blenheim, and apricot. Poodle puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Elizabeth was helpful in making my decision to get Teddy. He was the perfect dog for me.

Where do I even begin? This journey for a puppy was extremely special for me as he was my first pet ever! I shared this with Elizabeth and she answered every question (or scenario from my head) that I could think of. Throughout the process she was reassuring and never seemed bothered. She has such a great spirit for this! She is knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. I initially chose the puppy I wanted after searching for weeks, then went on to read reviews to see if we would be a good fit to work with each other. And, I must say - the reviews were spot on. She shared photos/videos of my puppy until it was time to pick him up. There was constant communication which was extremely important to me. I know breeders are very busy with everyday life and the care of our pups but you could tell her experience and dedication. I know there are lots of breeders on here to choose from but I was happy to cross paths and work with her. We settled on a date and I flew in to get my cute puppy. She made herself available so that I could catch my flight back in a timely manner. During the meet she explains all the puppy's paperwork (registration - which may other breeders do not have), insurance info, vaccination schedule, etc. Basically everything that was listed is genuinely included, and I love that!! My little guy had just gotten a bath and smelled amazing! He was well socialized, not afraid and very gentle. I knew my daughters were going to adore him as much as I did. It has been about 10 days since he has been home and we can't imagine not having him! The sweetest dog. Based off of my personal experience, I recommend working with Elizabeth - and her puppies!! Mine is super healthy, playful, and happy. I was in the position (on the hunt for a puppy) and deeply enjoyed the Good Dog app experience. Forever grateful.

Let me start off by saying . . . . Wow!!!!! Working with Elizabeth was both informative and rewarding. She answered every single question I had with no hesitation. She knew so much about the breed and made the transition so easy. We picked our puppy up and he had a fresh bath with food, a blanket, a stuff, and lots of information regarding the pup. I would only get another puppy if it was bred by Perkins Pups.

Good Dogs was referred to me by my cousin and I’m still surprised that I agreed to use a website to find a dog. It was a little nerve wracking because you have to trust it’s real and pay through a portal. However, we had such a great experience! Elizabeth was awesome. She was extremely trustworthy, responsive, helpful, understanding and nice. She even sent us updated pictures of our puppy when we asked! When it was time to pick up our puppy we agreed on a time and public place. She had everything ready to go and made us feel comfortable. I would use Elizabeth again in the future and will absolutely refer my friends and family.
