I'm Ashlee B., the breeder behind Petoskey Goldendoodles located in Petoskey, MI. I love Goldendoodles, it’s important to me to have a responsible person breeding these dogs so we can keep the breed going. I feel so privilege to have taken on this role and responsibility. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.
Q. & A. with Ashlee
Why did you start breeding?
After we got our first Goldendoodle I made a very deep bond with her. I started to think about how sad I would be someday when she isn’t with me anymore. I thought if we could only have a little one of her to keep over and over. I researched breeding and made a lot of friends along the way that are breeders. It became very important to me to be able to have this breed keep going in a responsible home.
What makes your program special?
We are a loving home, we are dead set against puppy mills and the only way to keep having this breed is to actually breed it. If we can breed Goldendoodles and be responsible breeders, it can help puppy mills not get sales. Our puppies require getting neutered and spayed we do not offer breeding rights. Petoskey Goldendoodles reserves the right to hold back 1 or 2 dogs in a litter to be used for the program, this is before the customer picks are made.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include petite, miniature, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Chance
Chance is an exceptional boy! He is a multigenerational Goldendoodle from Petoskey Goldendoodles bloodline. Parents of Chance are Saylor and Skipper. He is from the Toy Story litter and was Woody. He’s kind, smart and a ton of fun. He enjoys his family and outings at his human siblings sports events. He loves traveling and camping. Chance is going to make some amazing offspring. He’s healthy and has the best temperament and personality. Chance is a micro mini Goldendoodle. (Micro is any Goldendoodle under 26 pounds) He is currently 12 pounds.
Tula, mom
Goldendoodle
About Tula
Tula is a multigen micro mini goldendoodle. The most AMAZING part of Tula is she’s 24% golden retriever and yet still the micro mini size! It’s super rare to have a micro mini that contains so much golden retriever dna. Most micro mini’s will have very little golden retriever in their dna. She’s an absolute dream! Everyone who meets her wants to take her home! She’s kind and gentle and loves snuggling. She’s a very loyal and well behaved girl. She’s very laid back, but when it’s time to play she can switch into play mode without a delay. She’s very fast and athletic! She should be able to produce many colors and patterns of coats!
Skipper, dad
Poodle
About Skipper
Skipper is the world’s best lap dog! Snuggling is his favorite! He is VERY social and loves everyone he meets! He has sired litters in the past and makes the best babies! His pups are smart, fun and laid back (except for when they are playing and having fun!). Skipper is a very obedient dog and passes on his best qualities to his offspring including his little size of 8 pounds. Pups will most likely be somewhere between the sire and dam’s weight.
Saylor, mom
Goldendoodle
About Saylor
Saylor is an F1b Micro Mini Goldendoodle. She will be our Dam for our Micro Mini Goldendoodles!!! They will get to be 5-12lbs total.
Esmei, mom

About Esmei
Esmei is absolutely wonderful! She has the sweetest soul. She is very calm and collected. Very well behaved, listens wonderfully. Aims to please her owner. Very smart, fast learner. Super cute!
