Meet the breeder

I'm Jah’s R., the breeder behind Jah’s Retrievers located in Philadelphia, PA. We are devoted to raising healthy, well-tempered, family-ready companions. Our puppies, thoughtfully bred Multigenerational Goldendoodles & are raised in our home with love, early socialization, and intentional care. We prioritize responsible breeding and health testing.

Q. & A. with Jah’s

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve had dogs my entire life, but I always knew I wanted something more. After finding an ethical breeder who aligned with my values, I welcomed my first Doodle and officially began building my program. 2024 marked the true start of my breeding journey, my Solar Litter. Indica is my heart dog and the foundation of Jah’s Retrievers, representing the temperament and confidence I strive to produce.
  • What makes your program special?

I go above and beyond for my puppies. I mean, it is TRULY insane how much I do for the animals I have brought into this world. I set them up for success to the best of my abilities. All they ever known is love & all they ever WILL know, even after leaving onto their new adventures. I am picky to who buys a puppy from me & I do not sell to just anyone. Filling application ≠ getting a puppy from me.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I could not be happier with the fur baby I got from Philly’s Designer Doodles! Ayce is extremely knowledgeable and responsive! You can tell her really cares about all the dogs he breeds. He sent me frequent pictures and updates about the dog I was adopting, which I always looked forward to! Our dog was the perfect addition to our family, and it was no doubt thanks to the great time and attention he puts into training his dogs. He made the experience very easy and exciting!

I absolutely adore my puppy! She has such a wonderful temperament very curious, confident, and eager to explore the world around her. She loves trying new things and adjusts quickly to new environments, which has made bringing her home such a positive experience. I picked her up at just 7 weeks old, and I was truly impressed with how much she already knew. She could sit, come when called, and was already familiar with using pee pads, which made the transition so much smoother. It’s clear she was raised with care and intention. Jah has been extremely responsive throughout the entire process, always quick to answer questions and provide helpful guidance. You can tell they are very knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. Most importantly, it’s obvious they truly care about the well-being of their puppies and the homes they go to. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.
