I'm Doreen L., the breeder behind Pilots Acres located in Texas. We're dedicated to connecting you to your perfect Airedale puppy. We pride ourselves on our work and take pride in our dogs, too! We have 2 females and 1 stud. Through creating an environment of serenity and care for our puppies, we know we are able to give each precious pup the very best chance to reach their potential, express their unique personality, and have a loving, well-rounded temperament. We can't wait to connect with you!

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always wanted to breed Airedales and finally had time to devote to doing it right with lots of room for dogs on our mini-farm! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
Our pups are given the best start with good nutrition and lots of love. We play with them, hold them, and spoil them until they leave. They get good vet care from the very start! Our vet has even called them “stunning”!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Doreen
Doreen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Deposit is $350 to secure a spot on the first available litter. If I cannot fulfill my promise of a puppy within 9 months your deposit is fully refundable. We try to ensure gender choice whenever possible.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
