Meet the breeder

I'm Pine Haven Brussels Griffons LLC, the breeder behind Pine Haven Brussels Griffons LLC located in Croswell, MI. At Pine Haven Brussels Griffons LLC, we are dedicated to raising healthy, happy, and beautifully socialized AKC-registered Brussels Griffons. Located in the scenic Thumb of Michigan (Croswell, MI), our breeding program is founded on a simple but deeply held philosophy: our dogs are beloved members of our family first. We do not believe in traditional kenneling. Instead, our dogs enjoy an abundance of space to run, play, explore, and stretch their legs in a true home environment. This cage-free approach ensures that our puppies grow up confident, well-adjusted, and brimming with the distinct, larger-than-life personality that makes the Brussels Griffon breed so magical. We pour our hearts into providing careful attention to early socialization, meticulous health standards, and responsible breeding practices. When you choose a puppy from us, you are welcoming a companion that has been: Raised directly underfoot in a loving, active household. Extensively socialized from birth to interact beautifully with humans and other pets in various situations. Given the highest tier of nutritional and veterinary care. While the breed standard is 6-14 pounds, our dogs average 7-10 pounds. About the Breed: Often described as having near-human facial expressions, Brussels Griffons are small in size but massive in personality . They are incredibly intelligent, deeply loyal, and intensely affectionate "velcro" dogs. Whether you are looking for an alert, playful companion or a devoted lapdog perfect for apartment living, the Brussels Griffon brings an unmatched joy and quirky charm to any home.

Q. & A. with Pine Haven Brussels Griffons LLC

Why did you start breeding?
When we first started breeding Brussels Griffons there were not many breeders in Michigan. The dogs have such great personalities, that we wanted to share the breed with others.
What makes your program special?

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include belge, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Hondo, dad
Brussels Griffon
About Hondo
Our Sire A striking red rough Brussels Griffon with the classic breed look and temperament. He carries a rich coat, a well-furnished beard and mustache, and that unmistakable expressive “monkey face” Griffons are known for. True to the breed, he is loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to his people. Alert and full of personality, he has the typical Griff mix of confidence, affection, and a touch of comic charm. He passes on both his good looks and his steady, people-oriented nature. Pedigree includes Russian bloodline.
Missy, mom
Brussels Griffon
About Missy
Our Dam A true tiny princess of a Brussels Griffon — compact, fine-boned, and full of attitude. Pedigree has Finnish and Ukrainian and Czech-Moravian bloodlines. She may be small, but she runs the household like royalty. Confident, a little dramatic, and completely convinced she is the center of the universe, she has that classic Griff personality in a petite package. When she’s not supervising everything, she’s pure snuggle — soft, affectionate, and happiest curled up against her people. Loyal, loving, and full of the breed’s signature charm and expression.
Ruby, mom
Brussels Griffon
About Ruby
A classic Brussels Griffon with the breed’s signature big personality in a compact frame. She has the typical Griff expression — bright, alert eyes and that charming, almost human-like face — along with a steady, affectionate nature. She is an excellent, attentive mother who raises her puppies with care, patience, and confidence. Outside of motherhood she is a true companion. She loves traveling with us and is just as content relaxing at home. Her favorite place is curled up next to us in bed at night, where she settles in close and stays until morning. Loyal, loving, and full of the classic Brussels Griffon charm.

Robert & Meg were wonderful to work with. Communication was great throughout the whole experience. They gave me updates, photos, and information about some of the milestones our puppy reached. Setting up for puppy pickup was smooth. They clearly care about their pups.
