I'm the breeder behind Pinray Irish Setters located in Louisville, KY. We have been breeding Irish setters for 30 years and offer beautiful heavy sitters that are top quality for performance, agility, pet therapy, and wonderful, loving family pets.
Q. & A. with Charlotte
Why did you start breeding?
We love Irish setters and wanted to continue our line of Irish sitters and generally breed only when we want another puppy for our own.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs and puppies live with us in our home. In fact when we breed, and when the puppies are whelped, they are whelped in our kitchen and for the first eight weeks of their lives they are part of our family in our kitchen and hunt in the backyard in the front yard, which we have fenced off so they can get their exercise.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
