Q. & A. with Danielle

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our family has always loved the huskies, both for their beautiful looks as well as their intelligence & temperament. When we learned about the Pomsky, it was the best of all worlds: adorable little husky-like dog, extra fluff & some spunky pomeranian thrown in. We knew we had to learn all we could about this breed, & Playful Pomskies was born so we could share these incredible dogs with others!
  • What makes your program special?

We treat our dogs & pups like part of the family - because they are! Lots of love, training & attention is spent from the whole family, giving them lots of learning & growth opportunities so they can be prepared for their new homes. We're strict with our dogs' health & safety, doing our best to provide healthy, well tempured & beautiful dogs to bring joy & love to their new families!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, black and white, chocolate, merle, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We lost our sweet Maltese after about thirteen amazing years. He was such a good dog I didn’t think we would ever be ready for another. Our malamute/husky mix took it really hard too so one night I started looking but not really thinking anything would come from it. I decided that since we wanted a smaller breed maybe a pomsky would be good for us. I talked to a few breeders before playful pomskies and just never thought it was right. Once I talked to Danielle I just knew that we were ready and we were going to get one of her pups! She’s amazing when it comes to picking your puppy. Makes the process so easy. Our little boy fits so will with our family. He’s mellow and calm. He loves to be snuggled with and always wants to be in someone’s lap. And yes everywhere we go everyone tells us how beautiful and sweet he is. We found our perfect breed and our perfect breeder. We got a good pup and a good match for us!!
