Why did you start breeding?
My husband John wanted Bassets all his life. He wasn’t to have one as a child as his mother was super excited about the idea. So he waited and together John and I have been able to make this dream of ours come true! We have two sons who have been raising Samoyed most of their life with their families; it was pretty natural for us to also begin breeding Bassets as we have loved the breed for so long.What makes your program special?
We focus on American Bassets that have perfect temperaments. We have tris and that color carries through our bloodlines strongly.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.

"This price includes full registration and health checkups by our vet. It also includes their deworming and vaccines appropriate for their age. None refundable unless there is something that happens with the puppy before the new parents receive it. Then we will refund the full amount or allow them to choose another of their desire."

+6Plummer Mountain Kennels was an amazing experience picking up my best friend Woody (Comit). My girlfriend and I drove out to Plummer Idaho from Tacoma Washington area and it was well worth the 5 hours of driving. Plummer Mountain Kennels takes tremendous care of their bassets. When Woody was past off to me he was very relaxed and comfortable. He naturally loved to sleep in the truck. He slept damn near the whole 5 hours back with a handful of potty stops. If you are interested in a Basset Hound as your new best friend I’d seriously consider Plummer Mountain Kennels. My first couple weeks with Woody have been amazing and I’m so exited for what’s ahead.
