I'm Christine C., the breeder behind Pocono GSD located in Tafton, PA. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
Jesse was raised breeding German Shepherd Dogs with his father. In 2015, we got back into breeding German Shepherds as a family. We started with traditional coat colors, Black and Tan and Sable, but Christine quickly fell in love with non traditional coats colors (white, blue, liver, panda etc).What makes your program special?
We focus on the important details to give pups the very best start. All parents and pups live in house with our loving family, to include 10 kids. Our adults go through various DNA health testing, Hip and Elbow testing and live regular dog lives, not limited to a kennel. They see the Vet annually. All pups are given routine dewormers, see the Vet at 6 weeks and go home with initial vaccinations.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

"The price includes health testing, routine dewormings, initial vaccinations, registration paperwork, microchip, first Vet check up, introductory training and socialization. Nonrefundable, unless there is an issue on the breeders end."

Litter update on 26 Jan •Atlantis’ pups were routinely dewormed today for 4 weeks! All pups weigh 2lb 7oz to 3lb 6oz. Everyone is doing great. The pups spend most of their day right now being playful, eating and growing! 💕

Litter update on 23 Jan •We moved Azula’s pups Vet appt to a little later next week (from our original appt on Monday) due to anticipating heavy snow here in The Pocono Mountains. We’re not sure how much snow we’ll be getting, but we are well prepared. The adult dogs will be happy to have fresh snow to play in! ☃️

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Working with Christine was a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. She was transparent, responsive, and clearly deeply invested in the health and temperament of her dogs. It was obvious these puppies were raised with intention, structure, and a lot of early socialization. Our puppy transitioned seamlessly into our home with multiple adult dogs.
