  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Nakia and her husband were fantastic to work with. We bought the last puppy of the littler and you could tell they were sad to see the last puppy go. The puppy, Finley, immediately fit right into our family and bonded with our two young daughters and quickly became thick as thieves with them. Finley is extremely smart, at 4.5 months old she already knows how to use a bell when she wants to go potty outside. She is so smart she can get into mischief sometimes. She has zero social issues with other dogs or humans and constantly wants to be loved and cuddled and at the center of whatever family activity we’re doing. We’ve only had Finley for two weeks but she quickly became the Queen of our house. I would highly recommend puppies from Poodle Doodle Kennels!

    Nakia was incredible throughout the whole process!     Nakia has been absolutely great to work with and genuinely loves the pups as if she were going to keep and raise them as her own.
