Meet the breeder

I'm Bryan P., the breeder behind Porter Kennels located in Outlook, WA. Our puppies are raised indoors with mom and dad right by their side. We have raised Dachshunds, Basset Hounds, and Labradors for the past 20 years. Our puppies are raised for 8 weeks to ensure crucial development, nourishment, and social skills. We never rush separating a mother from her puppy.

Bryan was super responsive, shared lots of pictures along the way and made pickup a breeze by meeting us half way. We could tell from our initial visit and through our pup’s temperament that he was well loved and cared for. He settled in immediately and is smarter than I could have ever imagined. Well bred dog! Do not hesitate to work with Bryan. The whole family pitches in and puts their love into their dogs 💕.

If you want a sweet, well acclimated pup, Porter Kennels is the way to go. We adopted a Basset puppy at 8 weeks and he is so sweet! Very healthy and relaxed about handling. He is so cute playing and goes to bed on his own when he's tired. We've introduced him to the cats and extended family. 1st vet check and vaccine booster was very chill -- he got a zero score on his anxiety level (fell asleep during the exam). He has completely won over everyone (and every cat) he's met. This dog is growing as fast as an Amaryllis -- doubled his weight in 3 weeks (from 5.6 to 11.2 lbs). Such a good boy! Thanks very much -- you've enriched our lives with this little doggie.
