I'm Karen C., the breeder behind Primetime Sussex Spaniels located in Salisbury, MD. We are an AKC Breeder of Merit, preserving our rare old sporting breed for future generations. We breed, train, and compete with our dogs in a wide variety of AKC sports. Our goal is to continue improving the health and vitality of our breed to be enjoyed by families for generations to come.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has always been involved in farming, and I have always loved dogs. The tradition of animal husbandry came naturally to me when I entered the world of AKC dogs.
What makes your program special?
We seek to breed intelligent, pleasant, healthy dogs that are excellent examples of the breed standard. our dogs have excelled in sporting activities and the show ring.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $1,500 refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
