I'm Lauren B., the breeder behind Primrose Cottage Puppies located in Columbia, TN. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Why did you start breeding?
When I was a kid my family bred Pomeranian puppies and I fell in love with the whole thing. Now that I have a family of my own i can’t wait for them to experience the excitement of expecting, whelping & caring for new puppies.What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are home raised, and a little pampered with lots of snuggles and focused attention. We want to make sure that all is well with your puppy before they go home with you. We hope to make the transition from our home to your heart a little less stressful for the puppies, so each one is gently introduced to various sights, sounds, smells, and touch. This way, the puppies will be well-adjusted and completely comfortable when they meet their new companion, you! The health of our puppies is very important to us. That’s why we have done detailed health screening on each of our puppies parents through DNA testing. They have each been screened for over 219 genetic conditions and they all have a clean bill of health. This helps to insure that all of their litters are healthy and strong. Which also means that your puppies have the best chance possible for a healthy future and a long life !! The parents are all Breed Certified by Embark and they are each CKC registered. This gives you the confidence that your puppy is from healthy bloodlines & never inbred. DNA testing tells us we can expect our litters to produce some highly sought after coat colors & patterns. Our Golden Sheepadoodle are bred to have that “doodle” look with the ever so popular wavy coat or the much desired curly coat. Wether they are the highly sought after Blue Merle, Black & White, Parti, Gray and white, or a pure black Doodle it’s needless to say our Double Doodles are ADORABLE!! Our goal is to produce the most beautiful, healthy, hypoallergenic, doodles possible. We are raising puppies that will be snuggly, happy, and healthy for years to come. Price
"The price includes CKC registration, first round of vaccines and deworming, ENS training, socialization, health guarantee, Health Certificate, first round of heart worm medication. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. Deposit include registration & rights to reserve a puppy with us. The price is absorbed into total cost of puppy."

About Indigo
Indigo reminds us a little bit of Dwight Schrute from the T.V.series “the office”. He likes to think that he’s in charge, but everyone knows that he’s most definitely NOT! Besides pretending to be boss, his favorite pastime is feeling the wind in his hair as he swiftly flies through the backyard. If he had a theme song, it would predictably be “I believe I can fly“. he may be the smallest member of our family, but he’s also the most protective in the most admirable way. He’s confident that it’s his duty as a gentleman to protect and defend with every ounce of his cute little self. He doesn’t say much but when he does it’s short and to the point. He is the perfect sidekick and so much fun to have around!

About Prim
Prim is a perfect combination of fun and fancy. She’s that girl who loves a good day at the spa but she’s not afraid of getting her paws dirty either. Obedient and loyal but you can count on her for a good time! Whether she’s chasing the ball, eating or napping, she does everything with her whole heart. She is smart as a whip and loves learning new tricks or practicing old ones. She’s not a quitter, when everyone else has given up, she’s still going strong. We aren’t exactly sure what she’s doing in her sleep, but we’re pretty convinced she’s dreaming of being a ninja warrior! Alone time isn’t in her vocabulary so whatever she’s doing she’d much rather be doing it with a friend. If she hasn’t been invited to the party it was obviously an oversight so she shows up anyways ready to have a good time. Primrose is our B.F.F, fun, dependable, and totally lovable, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

About Opal
If opal was a human, she would definitely be the person sporting a “free hugs” sign around her neck. She loves shameless displays of affection, and she’s not shy about it. Not only is she always good for a snuggle, but she’s also pretty sure that if you’re snuggling someone else besides her, it’s undoubtedly a mistake and she is the remedy. Her motherly qualities have been crystal clear from the start. Even before she had her first litter, she was leading the pack with gentle reminders to be obedient. After being given a command, we have on occasion seen Opal quickly obey and then check the ranks to make sure the others are properly following orders as well. If she finds someone out of line she will gently place her paw on their shoulder, as if to say “spit spot”, in the tone of Mary Poppins until they adjust their behavior. Not wanting to disappoint the others quickly follow suit by obeying the command. Her black, fluffy curls are to die for, but it’s absolutely heart melting when she lays her sweet little head on your lap and looks up at you with those big brown puppy eyes, awaiting her next snuggle.

+4Lauren and her Husband were incredibly accommodating in our purchase of Apple (now Abi)! Our dog was clearly loved prior to our pick up, and has been a lovely addition to our family. They clearly socialized her well, have taught her to play with other puppies and dogs, and made her comfortable with humans of all ages. I so appreciated that they were willing to meet me at a hotel near the airport which allowed for our Christmas surprise. Would absolutely work with them again!
