I'm Lauren S., the breeder behind Pristine Pomskies located in Rock Hill, SC. At Pristine Pomskies, we uphold a strict breeding standard and all of our animals are inside pets. We breed to achieve an amazing temperament and health first, and adorable markings second. All puppies are raised inside our home and socialized throughout each day.
Q. & A. with Lauren
Why did you start breeding?
I saw the Pomsky breed online in 2011 and started researching. Little was known about the breed then, so it piqued my interest. I had always wanted a husky, so that’s how it started! One AKC husky and Pomeranian later, my breeding program began. I was determined to start an ethical breeding program where puppies were raised in my home.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding dogs are never rehomed, unlike most breeders. We feel as if every dog deserves a forever home. The fee for each puppy goes towards their parents' care as they age. We raise all puppies in our home and socialize them daily. We have 3 dogs (1 retired) and 1 co-own who lives with a friend of mine. We ensure our puppies are well cared for and find the most perfect homes possible. I am there for the adopters for the life of the dog!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver and white, gray and white, wolf sable, white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Soka
Ahsoka is a black and white F1b pomsky with a huge personality. She has a wooly coat and two bright blue eyes. In her spare time, Ahsoka enjoys chasing birds in our backyard.
Annabelle is a female Pomsky. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Lauren decided to make her part of their program. Lauren has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
