I'm Marie D., the breeder behind Qilin Chinese Crested located in Kentucky. Our dogs are part of our family and very loving. We selectively breed a small number of litters each year to preserve the Chinese Crested with emphasis on overall health, sound temperament, and excellent conformation. Puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized and handled daily. We would love to introduce you to your next beloved companion!

Why did you start breeding?
Ethical, intentional breeding is essential for the long-term health and quality of the Chinese Crested breed. My focus is on producing litters from dogs that exemplify strong health, structure, and temperament, ensuring each generation improves on the last.What makes your program special?
As a breeder of Chinese Crested puppies, I prioritize breed standards and the health of my dogs above all else. I only produce litters from carefully selected, thoroughly health-tested parents who exemplify the breed. It’s rewarding to see their puppies thrive in homes that value the quality and care I put into each generation.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Marie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Marie partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
“Price varies. We offer delivery within (2) hours at no charge. We will drive up to four hours for a fee of $150 per hr. or $75 per half hour. Anything beyond 4 hrs you would need to hire a transportation service. A deposit of $500] is required to reserve the puppy and is non-refundable under all circumstances. Any additional payments made prior to the puppy’s pickup, including the deposit, are also non-refundable. The buyer acknowledges that failure to take possession of the puppy on the agreed-upon date does not entitle them to a refund of any payments made.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. +7We are so pleased with our puppy from Qilin Chinese Crested as well as the entire process. Marie was in contact throughout and they made the effort to meet me at the airport with Radagast (Kappa of Sushi X Kovu) on New Year's Day - so needless to say it was a very special day. We got Radley a little later in his puppyhood - 4 months old or so - he is smart, healthy, was well adjusted and clearly had been brought up with a LOT of love and care. He is a rascal and we love him so much. His coloring is amazing, we love watching him transform from chocolate to silver as we cut his hair (the evolution of his haircuts has been very fun). I feel very lucky that we somehow scooped him. I originally didn't think about a Powder Puff variety but we are in love with them now! He is a Minnesota snow monster in the winter! I highly recommend Marie and Qilin Chinese Crested.
