Queenie is an AKC-registered basset hound and the radiant inspiration behind our kennel name, Queen B Bassets. Expecting her first litter in early March 2025, this beautiful and loving dam is the epitome of a perfect family dog. With her affectionate nature and eagerness to learn, Queenie excels in new skills like scent work and truffle hunting, showcasing her intelligence and versatility. She’s a true queen—graceful, devoted, and the heart of our breeding program.

Thrombopathia, Basset Hound Type, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
