Meet the breeder

I'm Sandra B., the breeder behind Qu-Te's Chihuahuas located in Tremonten, UT. I had a Chihuahua weekend i was a kid. He was my best friend. Poncho was feisty, courageous, funny and loving. As an adult I have had many dogs. Love them all. I decided in 2000 to finally get another Chihuahua. Wow! I never dreamed or knew I would become obsessed. It's a very long story. I bought a Chihuahua female from a show breeder. Contract said breed to her Champion and she gets a puppy back. When the puppies were born emergency C-section, very traumatizing, she delivered 4 living puppies and 3 deceased. My first litter and wow,I was not prepared. Lot of time and worry. I fell in love immediately with a little tri i named Cupid. He was my heart and soul. He was not just a dog, he was my best friend, my child,my therapist, my reason for living and loving Chihuahuas. My soul was his. Then another show breeder, Jackie Dewcastle have me two girls to get me going. Then came Cash. My heart was so full of love and happiness. Needless to say, it all began. These two old boys, now gone with a part of my heart and soul. These boys are still in my lines today. I did rescue during those days also. Saving Chihuahuas from animal shelters. Rehabilitation was easy, they just needed to be understood. It was very hard to let them go but they got to have amazing lifes. I still keep in touch with several and many contact me to tell me thank you. I kept many of them. Health issues stayed with me. I was always worried they would not get their hair treatment. So here I am! Lots of Chihuahuas. Happy dogs everywhere. I get to wake up with a smile(or frown lol) seeing them play and be excited to start a new day(stuff scattered through the house). I love them dearly. I try not to keep them all but, I love my boys. Most retired dogs stay with me unless someone comes along and I know they would be perfect for them. This is Part of my story and more stories start everyday of my life. If you want a chihuahua from me, prepared to be stocked. Thanks for looking.

Sandra was amazing and communicated well throughout the process. We were a little leary after being ripped off previously, but after our initial conversation and her follow ups we were at ease. We are so glad we found her. She raises her pups as family, not a kenneled breeding business and it shows in the pup’s dispositions. Finn is amazing loving 5 1/2 pound fawn long hair male. We’re in our 60’s and have had many dogs throughout the years. I believe the first few months of their lives shapes the personality and and Finn is the best that we have ever had. Sandra has become an online friend and likes updates on his health and adventures. She truly cares and does this for the love of the animals.
