Q. & A. with Xavy
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding back in 2016 after I started seeing more and more backyard bred poodles come into my salon to be groomed, I decided to start breeding to try and counter the balance of poorly bred poodles out there and spend time educating other breeders on how to not only breed for color, but intelligence, personality, and proper stature and hair texture to preserve the breed.
What makes your program special?
All of my dogs have been raised in home as young puppies with me, I spend hours every day with my litters, ensuring they are socialized and on a fantastic start to crate and potty training before leaving my home. I only breed dogs that meet genetic health clearances but also only breed the ones with the absolute best personalities and intelligence. Many of my pups have gone into service work!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, parti, phantom, and brindle. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
