I'm Gianna D., the breeder behind Rapture Malinois located in Los Angeles, CA. My goal is to raise the working standards of the breed & produce healthy, confident, and stable pure bred Malinois suitable for high-level sport.
Q. & A. with Gianna
Why did you start breeding?
Our first litter is coming up pending health testing results! I chose to get into breeding to better the breed after having so much experience with far too many unhealthy and subpar Malinois. I want to help change that, and bring back healthy, level headed, confident working dogs.
What makes your program special?
Health and temperament are our priorities. However, we also take into extreme consideration the dogs capability of high-level sport. We want to “raise the standard” by going above and beyond with health testing, choosing which puppies will be appropriate for which home, and choosing breeding stock very vigilantly. We are strictly opposed to breeding nervy, unstable dogs, & breeding for color.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
