I'm the breeder behind Ravenna Borzoi located in Omaha, NE. My dogs are conformation champions in the ring and also compete in coursing and straight racing. I breed according to the standard and I focus on health and temperament. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I love participating in dog sports and love raising puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the Borzoi. I am proud to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I will always stand behind my puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
