I'm Janet E., the breeder behind Red Hill Bassets located in Bessemer County, AL. We are a small, in-home program focused on providing happy, healthy pups! We give personal attention to each of our Bassets so they are all ready to excel in their new homes. Through creating an environment of serenity and care for our puppies, we know we are able to give each precious pup the very best chance to reach their potential, express their unique personality, and have a loving, well-rounded temperament.

Why did you start breeding?
We used to breed Huskies, but fell in love with the Basset Hound breed. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too! We pride ourselves on helping all of our clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!What makes your program special?

We are dedicated to always providing you with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Getting a puppy from Janet
Janet has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $600 - $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Also included are the health guarantee, deworming, vaccinations, and a veterinary exam prior to rehoming. Depends on the situation.”

Janet may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
