I'm Vanessa F., the breeder behind Red Maple Farm located in Knoxville, TN. We’re so excited to be able to help you experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy! When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families! Our dogs are healthy, so very happy and such well balanced dogs in all that we wanted other families to be able to enjoy this amazing combination of breeds. They are energetic when they can (mom in my running buddy!) but so calm and will sit by my side while I work for long hours. They are protective of my children, but so gentle with them and all the other animals in the farm.

Why did you start breeding?
Our dogs are such great dogs, in great health and with great personalities we decided to start a breeding program!What makes your program special?
We make sure the puppies are exposed to different stimuli as they grow, including different people, children, animals (cats, birds, farm animals), swimming, and getting used to being by themselves while the family is gone. They are practically potty trained already!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

“The price includes the guarantee, wellness visit, first puppy vaccines, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, microchip and puppy socialization. All of our puppies are the same price, regardless of gender, size coat or eye color.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
