I'm Joan L., the breeder behind Redhead Hounds located in Gilbert, AZ. We share our home with our 6 beautiful Basset Hounds. Our greatest passion is our continued education to better the breed. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Basset Hound will continue to thrive for generations to come. We believe we accomplish this in several ways. We are members of the National club as well as regional clubs. We show our dogs in AKC conformation shows, where they can be judged against the standard for basset hounds. Dogs need to meet the standard, be able to achieve the job they were bred to do. They need a purpose.

“The price includes AKC limited registration, initial vaccines, microchip, worming and clear fecal report, vet record and vaccine record, puppy food and a toy and blanket that smell like the litter and mom. Instructions on all things basset hound, I will be a permanent resource for you for the life of the basset hound. I don't require a deposit. You pay for your puppy when the puppy goes home with you.
