Q. & A. with Erika
Why did you start breeding?
Our dogs have brought so much enjoyment into our lives, even comforting our foster kids by sleeping with them from night one, we decided we wanted to raise what we see as the perfect dog for the outdoorsy/hunting family.
What makes your program special?
We raise only 1 litter a year in our homes, where they are showered with attention and exposed to a variety of stimulation (sights, sounds, etc), as a well-rounded puppy helps ensure a well-rounded adult.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Lota
Lota is an exceptional dog who makes our family complete. Always eager for any adventure yet quick to relax in the house. With keen observation skills and an eagerness to please, her love to hunt is palpable. Upland birds are her favorite, but she would never turn down a duck. She enjoys boat rides and fishing, and will even tolerate long snowmobile rides to chase trout. Island camping is her favorite summer time activity as nearly all of her hobbies and her cherished people time are combined in one activity. Her intelligence is top-notch, and my husband jokes that if they sold her shotgun shells, he would be the one getting the birds! She has the perfect balance of get up and go and sit back and relax. There isn't a thing we would change about her!
