Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Elmer was very responsive. You can tell here cares about the breed and has lots of information. Helped me understand the true needs of the breed and its history. Also sent videos and pictures of the puppy and parents throughout the process. Was able to meet the parents as well which was great. Will definitely continue to be in contact with Elmer and is still available if I have questions.
