I'm Christi Y., the breeder behind Ridgewood Shiloh Shepherds located in Birdsboro, PA. I am a small breeding program with an emphasis on health testing and temperament. I offer my puppy buyers support for a lifetime. My dogs are not raised in a kennel. They are raised in my home and are part of the family. It is important to me that my puppies go to similar living environments.
Q. & A. with Christi
Why did you start breeding?
When I purchased my first Shiloh, Chewbacca, in 1998, the breeders involved talked me into showing her and became my mentors. The rest is history.
What makes your program special?
The love and care that I give to my puppies make my program special. I sleep next to my puppies from the time they are born until they leave for their new homes.
I believe in socializing my puppies from the moment they are born. I also start crate training at 6 weeks of age along with starting house training of my puppies.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
