Brenda is nothing short of phenomenal. From our first interaction all the way up to today, she has been patient, kind, empathic, supportive and trustworthy. I can't speak enough on how wonderful she has been with our first breeder experience. My wife and I has been searching for a Malamute for a few weeks and every shelter had none. They even make it super difficult to get to see a dog. We were fed up with the adoption process and decided to go with a breeder and boy did we make the right choice. We found River Bend Malamutes through this website and saw our future puppy within minutes. My wife took one look at him and said that's the one. We messaged Brenda and within 1 hour she responded. We found some familiar ground (both of us having spent time in CT) and just clicked. She entertained all our questions and professionalism and grace and even set up a call to assuage our concerns. Upon completion of the call, we knew this was it. She offered to deliver our puppy to us from Virginia but we decided it would be best to meet him, his family and Brenda's family in person. We drove 10 hours down to accomplish this and Brenda stayed in close contact with us the whole way down...When we arrived, her and her family were very hospitable and treated us like friends. We got to meet our dog's siblings and his parents. She made the whole paperwork process easy, explained all the details we needed to know and gave us a puppy starter kit. She even gave our boy a bath before we left so he was nice and clean on the ride back. After a few pictures and laughs, we left and she assured us that we could contact her any time in the future if we needed anything and let me tell ya, we have not stopped chatting with each other to discuss tips, tricks and professional guidance. Do yourself a favor and just work with her, you will not regret it....she is it. (I am saying this as a skeptical NYC person haha). Anyways, 5/5, 10/10. Simply, "The Best"

I couldn’t be happier with my Alaskan Malamute pup from River Bend Malamutes! 🤍 From start to finish, working with Brenda was an absolute pleasure. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire adoption process—keeping me updated with regular messages, photos, and videos of the puppies. Brenda patiently answered all my questions and was so understanding when I was initially unsure about which pup to choose. It’s clear she genuinely cares for each and every one of her dogs and is deeply committed to finding them loving, forever homes. I’m beyond grateful for such a positive experience!

Our experience with River Bend Malamutes was wonderful! Brenda herself was lovely— she maintained friendly and thorough communication throughout the entire process, welcoming as many questions as we needed to ask, and sharing all sorts of professional advice and personal stories about her own dogs to help guide our decision. She also updated her listings regularly, making it easy to see how the puppies were growing until they were ready to go home. On pick-up day, she had all the paperwork organized and ready to go, took the time to review all the information contained in said paperwork, and even sent us home with a (large!) goody bag stocked with everything from toys and treats, to samples of the food she had been feeding, to a blanket used by the litter and mama dog so our boy had a memento from his early days! She and her family had even been calling our baby by the name we had picked out, in order to get him used to hearing it. Our pup came to us in great shape! He was healthy and happy, and has adjusted to his new environment very quickly! I would buy another Mal puppy from River Bend in a heartbeat!
