I'm Gale F., the breeder behind Riverbend Farm located in Hickory, NC. I am a small-scale breeder. My focus is on maintaining the Borzoi standard by raising structurally sound pups with excellent temperaments and great health. I hand-raise all of my dogs with love, and I work hard to make sure each of my pups is healthy and ready to leave for its forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
I was involved in breeding many years ago and am recently getting started again. It is my goal to help ensure the future of the Borzoi through responsibly breeding my exceptional dogs. I dearly love this breed and am proud to be doing my part as a Borzoi breeder.What makes your program special?
My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
