I'm Tammy C., the breeder behind Riverfarm K-9s located in Atlanta, TX. My dogs aren’t just dogs, they are family! I spend a great deal of time with them. They travel with me when possible. I expect a great deal out of my dog/dogs, and I want them to expect a lot out of me. Having a dog is more about them being a part of your life, and you being a part of theirs.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I both grew up with German shepherds. When we started our family, we wanted them to see what it was like caring for puppies as well as dogs.What makes your program special?
I research males before I ever decide to breed. I like to get to know the owner of the male. I make sure the female is in the shape she should be for breeding, carrying the pups, nursing the pups, and afterwords. I dedicate time to the pups from day one till the time that they go to their forever home. I will continue to be a resource after the purchase is done and throughout the puppy/dog’s life.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Tammy
Tammy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tammy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“$2000.00 is for full breeding rights. The sire is from West German lines and has been successful in the show ring. The dam is a good female out of working stock. All of the puppies have been checked by my vet, wormed several times, and have had all of their shots. When you place your deposit, that holds a specific puppy for you of your choosing.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
