I'm Robyn D., the breeder behind Robyn's Nest Mini Goldens located in Springfield, MO. We start by carefully planning every liter. We consider the parentage pedigree, temperament, overall health and risks for genetic or hereditary issues through OFA and DNA testing.
We ensure a clean, safe and stimulating environment. We socialize with children, adults, other dogs, and a cat.
Q. & A. with Robyn
Why did you start breeding?
I was a guardian home for my brother and sister in law from Taylormade Mini Goldens and whelped puppies for them. After the contract for the guardian home was up I had the knowledge under my belt to move forward and manage my own program. We still work closely with Taylormade and utilize their sires for pairing with our dames.
What makes your program special?
We try to do what's right for the dog. We not only try and meet our dogs physical needs but try to entice and utilize their brain each day as well. We fully submerge puppies into our household before they go home. We pride ourselves on the socialization we provide. We ensure a clean, safe and stimulating environment. We provide socialization with children, adults, other dogs, and a cat.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
