Romuender German Shepherd Dogs

Karen B.

Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Karen B., the breeder behind Romuender German Shepherd Dogs located in Terrell, TX. We breed World Champion Longcoat German Shepherds. All parents are breed surveyed, titled, and have A-stamped hips and elbows. We import our dogs from Germany and are proud of their lineage. We're passionate about raising well-rounded puppies who will excel in any venue with their new families. We take great pride in our pups.

Q. & A. with Karen

  • Why did you start breeding?

My grandmother came from Germany, and our kennel is from her Maiden name, Romuender. She had German Shepherds, and that is how my parents met - through my father’s German Shepherd. So I guess it is our family's passion snd heritage.
  • What makes your program special?

We only follow the strictest SV rules. I don’t cut corners and say things like "well these two parents have hips and elbows done so they should breed." I listed the SV rules above and am passionate about not cutting corners to improve this breed!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
