I'm Mandi W., the breeder behind Rose Acre Whippets located in Plainfield, IN. I work hard to produce healthy, happy Whippet puppies, and I take great pride in my breeding program. I am a small-scale breeder, allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too! Each puppy comes with a limited registration and contract.

Getting a puppy from Mandi
Mandi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Mandi partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We evaluate our puppies about 8 weeks to select our next show prospect, this gives us time to watch them develop and learn personalities. Once our puppy is selected, we offer any puppy we feel will fit into your home and lifestyle to choose from. Pick order is the order in which we receive a deposit. All puppies will have a simple contract and be on a limited registration. Any show prospects will be on a co-ownership. ”

“Health guarantee AKC registration Microchip Age appropriate vaccines Support/mentoring for life of puppy. Deposits are non refundable unless we are unable to provide you with a puppy. If we receive your monies for the deposit, but do not receive the document, then it is assumed you agree to the deposit terms.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Whippet Health Foundation Database, Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Profile
