Meet the breeder

I'm Shawn B., the breeder behind Rosie's Doodle Den located in Corvallis, OR. I strive to excel in all standards: including temperament, socialization, physical health (diet & preventative care), training (agility), exercise (mountain biking), experiences/exposure (kayaking/hiking), puppy programs (eg Puppy Culture), etc. Our puppies will be given the best start in life.

Q. & A. with Shawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved, owned & trained dogs, beginning as a 13 yo teenager with my first German Shepherd. I have followed high standards for training, health & socialization. I have had 2 litters of puppies and always dreamed of being a small, home breeder. I am now retired and able to pursue that dream and devote my full attention to my program. My 2.5 year old has received GANA gold certification.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies have gotten our full attention 24/7 since birth. They are never left alone. These puppies have been given the best start in life possible with Puppy Culture protocols, tons of socialization and love and early training. These puppies are already being potty trained, crate trained, and trained to basic manners: sit, down, up sit, come, no, leave it and no bite. They are happy puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
