I'm Michael R., the breeder behind Roz Vizslas located in Ganado, TX. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. We have focused to produce medium sized well-rounded versatile puppies. We have combined both show and field trial bloodlines selecting for temperament so that they are not too high strung and not too soft in temperament. We welcome visits to meet them.

Why did you start breeding?
Initially, the plan was to raise a few litters to help fund my son‘s college. Over the years, we have really enjoyed raising them and the joy they bring to families and decided to continue and do our part to enhance the breed.What makes your program special?
We stand behind our dogs and have worked to combine different lineages containing both show and field trial lines to produce well rounded puppies. Their versatility allows them to be active yet having good confirmation and temperament to make them great family pets.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Michael
Michael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $1,400 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes 2 year health guarantee, AKC Registration paperwork, puppies have tails docked and dew claws removed, are wormed every 2 weeks starting at 2.5-3 weeks of age, 6 wk vacin & vet visit. Puppies are selected in order of deposits received. We ask that you let us know if you are still interested when the puppies are 6 weeks old, deposit can be refunded or moved to a future litter.”

Michael may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 13 Feb. •The puppies are doing great. They are regularly using the doggy door and using the outside one more and more for potty breaks. They have had their 6 week vaccinations and will have a general health check at the vet on February 14th.

Rufus is an energetic, loving fellow. He has a nice dark coat highlighted with the typical Vizsla golden marking on neck and shoulder areas.

Lily is a loving, soft tempered dog and a great mother. She is always happy to see you and loves some extra attention and play time. She easily cares for her large litters. Wags her tail and almost smiles to greet you. She is attentive to the puppies but not overly protective, but does not like other dogs close when she has puppies. She is a very sweet girl that loves to cuddle.

Violet is a sweet loving girl. She has been an excellent mother to the pups we have raised with her. She was acquired from another breeder, who asked us to take over her kennel back in 2021.

Ruth is a sweet girl that is the granddaughter of our Gunner. She is about 43lbs and is always eager to go run and play. She adds some new blood to our lines

Rocky is a very nice dark male with great temperament. He is very loving and quite stunning. His lineage combines both Show and Field Trail lines which make him a well rounded dog with a loving smart disposition.

Gunner comes from some field trial and Hunt lineage. His grandfather is a quite famous named DC Rabble Rouser ET. He is a very sweet fellow with well tempered personality. Some really nice pups for us over the years.

Rica is a super loving girl that has some show lines in her lineage. We acquired her from Red Jacket Vizslas. She is very Velcro and cannot get enough loving. She is a great mom and is affectionate to everyone.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

His response time on any communication was always so quick, he readily sent photo and video updates of the litter, and he was extremely flexible and accommodating when I had to change our scheduled pick up date several times due to a family emergency that occurred. He even put me in contact with a reputable dog sitter/ trainer in the city I live who has experience with Vizslas! I've had Ruby for a week now and she's been the perfect addition to our little family. So grateful for my experience with Michael and Roz Vizslas and for the ease of using Good Dog as our medium.
