I'm Ruby B., the breeder behind Ruby's Corgi's located in Red Bluff, CA. I cherish each of my dogs and puppies, and I do everything I can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. I strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding to attain what I couldn't find. I wanted a good dog free of health issues that wasn't hyper. I wanted a calm family companion that would also protect us. I wanted a conformation that would last many years without breaking down and a smart dog easy try to train. I set out to breed this particular myself since I couldn't find it.What makes your program special?
I have been highly successful with outstanding service dogs as well as search and rescue. My specialty is wonderful family dogs with countless happy people and hearts I've healed.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include black and tan, black and silver, and white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Stunning dark sable, impeccable conformation, large, broad dog. He has an incredibly calm and wonderful temperament. Could easily be a service dog trying him on protection training soon. He's a really really good dog and wonderful friend. He's my night guard dog keeping us safe without hesitation. He's also excellent around all other dogs and chickens. He's playful and extremely manerable naturally.

Mr. Bentley is a spectacular deep red male. He is correct in conformation and movement. Bentley is very calm and exceptionally loving. His disposition is perfect and he loves to play! He is standing to approved females. TRIPLE CLEAR. This is one of the very best Pembroke Corgi's you'll ever see. Stout with impeccable conformation, fantastic disposition, brave with excellent herding instinct. Without a tail he would have been a champion many times over.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Ruby was wonderful to work with and meet. She was willing to answer all of my questions so that I could understand the process because I had not adopted a puppy - or puppies in my case! - online before. She made the process incredibly smooth and safe. Once I placed a deposit on my puppies, she provided daily updates, sent pics and videos of the pups, and even allowed us to pick up our pups a day earlier! Ruby was super responsive and knowledgeable. She kept in touch about our puppy and sent pictures and videos of her regularly. When we went to pick her up she spent time showing us all the puppies and explaining her process. London (our puppy) came home nearly fully potty trained. She gave us a whole goody bag that was essentially a starter kit for our puppy, and she gave us the history of our puppys parents and grandparents. She has also kept in touch weeks later for any questions we may have. She is the best!

Ruby's deep experience is so evident in our new puppy, Saltie. Ruby had socialized the litter with other dogs in her home so Saltie is not scared of other dogs. She gave the puppies lots of love and touches. Saltie had experience with a collar and a halter so she was ready to be on leash on our drive home. Saltie has slept through the night all three nights we've had her. She took to house training right away. Saltie already knew how to go up stairs and was comfortable on different surfaces. I am so thrilled with the start that Ruby gave Saltie!

Throughout the entire process of picking our dog Koda and eventually meeting and bringing him home, Ruby made the entire thing so easy for me and my family. She was very responsive through the good dog messaging and through texts. Any questions or concerns we had, she answered them and was always kind and genuine. As soon as we arrived at her place, she was so hospitable and showed us all the amazing dogs and animals she takes care of. It was so amazing to see how dedicated she is to raising these animals to be healthy and happy and well taken care of.
