Meet the breeder

I'm Megan, the breeder behind Ruscelli Italian Greyhounds located in Florida. We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I was about 4, my family met a sheltie breeder. I can remember being in awe of her vision from an early age. I was able to get hands on experience raising puppies not just through her, but other breeders as well. I firmly believe we never stop learning, and so I try to keep my knowledge book a work in progress.
  • What makes your program special?

There are many large scale operations, and many breeders breeding specifically for conformation and coursing. My vision includes beauty, AND brains. Health of course is a major factor. There is a wait list currently. I never have puppies available immediately. My waitlist is not first come first served. We do things by temperament and matching to homes. Please inquire for further information.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Megan is absolutely amazing - she made the process so easy and extremely positive! She provided reassurance and wonderful advice throughout the whole process. Her attention to detail and care is very obvious. And of course our puppy is just wonderful- pure perfection!

Meagan was great to work with, very kind and professional. We had some schedules issues and it took a couple weeks to get our fur baby. We live about 8 hours away from her. But, she did everything she could to get our baby to us. She was wonderful to work with and we chatted almost daily about our dogs becoming very friendly. We would definitely adapt another IG from her.
