I'm Kimberly L., the breeder behind RVA DOODLES, LLC located in Midlothian, VA. At RVA Doodles, health comes first. Our breeding dogs undergo Embark genetic testing plus PennHIP or OFA hips, OFA cardiac, and OFA elbow testing. Raised inside our home with exceptional cleanliness, ENS, early socialization, crate training, and foundation potty training. Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began with a deep love for dogs and a desire to provide families with healthy, well-socialized companions. After falling in love with the Goldendoodle breed, I dedicated myself to learning genetics, health testing, and best practices in early puppy development. I started small, with one carefully chosen female, and built RVA Doodles with the belief that quality matters more than quantity. I previously bred Pomeranians many years ago.What makes your program special?
RVA Doodles is guided by the motto “Quality over Quantity.” We raise one litter at a time inside our living room, ensuring each puppy receives individual attention, early neurological stimulation, socialization, and enrichment from the very start. Our puppies are introduced to crate training, potty training, car rides, grooming, and daily household life so they transition smoothly into their forever homes. Every parent dog is health-tested, and we are passionate about breeding for temperament, structure, and rich coat colors. Families who adopt from us become part of our extended RVA Doodles family, and we’re committed to supporting them for the lifetime of their dog.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Kimberly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Kimberly partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
