Von Sternkraft German Shepherds

I'm Rylee R., the breeder behind Von Sternkraft German Shepherds located in Ramona, CA. My ultimate goal as a breeder is to preserve the German Shepherd as a true working dog. I believe a good example of the breed should possess the appropriate temperament, nerve, and drive to do anything asked of them. I breed occasionally and my focus is on quality, meticulous bloodline research, and making intentional pairings rather than producing a high number of puppies. I also firmly believe that a strong female is the most important piece of a good breeding program. I do not just breed my dogs or buy my breeding stock already titled; I train, title, and compete with them myself. I have a deep appreciation for a more intense, high-drive type of dog. My females must demonstrate the correct drives, stability, and work ethic before I consider breeding them. My dogs live inside my house with me on a 55 acre property in Ramona, California. Because we live on a working ranch, my adult dogs have to be safe and clear-headed around livestock, and the puppies I produce benefit heavily from this environment! From a young age they are safely exposed to and socialized around horses, cows, sheep, and chickens. Because I breed for a true working dog, my main goal is to place puppies in protection sport homes, but my dogs could also thrive in other venues like dock diving, detection, AKC events, herding, and some can even thrive in active pet homes, since not every puppy in a working litter is a sport prospect!
