Meet the breeder

I'm Abby S., the breeder behind Saddle Hill Farms located in Rienzi, MS. We offer all sizes of Aussiedoodles and goldendoodles. Our pups are loving and adorable family pets. We want people to find the dog they have always dreamed of, one they remember with great memories long after they are gone.

Q. & A. with Abby

  • Why did you start breeding?

It all started with my first golden retriever named Cash. I got him during a very hard time in my life. I remember leaning on him as an emotional support, and how much comfort and joy he brought me. I wanted others to be able to feel that same thing. Only problem was, he shed like crazy! So to Doodles I went and have not turned back. They are loving, smart, and indoor-friendly!
  • What makes your program special?

I am able to trace back some of our goldendoodle lines up to 5 generations from our own breeding stock. This gives me a great knowledge of the genetics and the temperament our buyers can expect from our pups. We have been breeding for 11 years so we are not new to the process of raising dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies include toy and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Abby at Saddle Hill Farms. From the very beginning, Abby was incredibly informative, patient, and responsive, answering all of my questions and making me feel confident throughout the entire process. She consistently kept me updated with photos of Lennon, which meant so much to me and made the wait even more exciting. The Good Dog app was also very easy to use and made communication, updates, and the overall process seamless. When it was time to bring Lennon home, Abby and her family went above and beyond by meeting me at the Memphis airport for an easy, stress-free handoff. Everything was so well organized, and it was clear how much care and love goes into raising their puppies. I am beyond happy with our new toy Goldendoodle, Lennon. He is healthy, happy, and the perfect addition to our family. I highly recommend Abby and Saddle Hill Farms to anyone looking for a wonderful puppy and an excellent experience from start to finish.
