Getting a puppy from Wanda

Wanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Wanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our Puppy Matching Policy ensures that high-drive, versatile hunting dogs are paired with the right homes through a breeder-led selection process rather than a traditional pick order. At 7–8 weeks of age, we conduct extensive assessments—including temperament testing and evaluations of natural hunting drive—to analyze each puppy's personality, focus, and "off-switch". By matching these emerging traits with your specific lifestyle and training goals, we ensure that elite field prospects reach dedicated hunting homes while more biddable pups thrive as active companions. This purpose-driven placement prioritizes the lifelong success of the partnership by ensuring the puppy's innate energy and drive complement the owner's environment. ”
