I'm Sharon B., the breeder behind Saint Pete Sheps located in St. Petersburg, FL. This stunning litter was sired by 3-time Sieger, "V" Tommy von der Zenteiche, IGP 2. These pups will make ideal service dogs/show dogs/family pets. Dams and sires have excellent/good/normal hips and elbows and are DM free.
This is a wonderful breed, but it is a "high maintenance" animal not suited for everyone. Training is essential. If you are unfamiliar with the breed, please research this breed, and feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have.
Q. & A. with Sharon
Why did you start breeding?
After years of rescuing GSDs, I came across an AKC dam by the name of Athena. Recognizing that rescue pets are not for everyone, I started look into the possibility of breeding her. OFA exams and DM tests followed. When everything came back excellent, the search was on for a sire. Saint Pete Sheps is proud to have a track record of quality puppies with great temperaments.
What makes your program special?
Our very small and selective breeding program produces 1 or 2 litters a year. The puppies are born and raised in my home and socialized from the start. Several of our puppies have gone into service, while others have settled into regular family life.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, black and red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
