Meet the breeder

I'm Sharon K., the breeder behind Samkist located in Michigan. We care deeply about the Samoyed and breed to ensure the health and future of these wonderful dogs. Q. & A. with Sharon

  • Why did you start breeding?

When my husband's Samoyed passed we obtained a female from a breeder who guided us through the intricacies of exhibiting and breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program focuses on temperament, structure, health and the breed standard. All of our dogs are health tested.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and biscuit, white, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
