I'm Sandy M., the breeder behind San Diego Westies located in Murrieta, CA. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We sell all our puppies with Limited AKC(pet only). Puppies will be able to he seen after they are 8 weeks and vaccinated.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was on a waiting list for about 2 years until we finally got our Westie. When my older daughter Ally, turned 18, she decided she wanted to take our sweet lovable Lyla to live with her. The family and our 10 yr old Isabella was heartbroken so that's when we decided to breed Lyla.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised in a loving family environment with kids around who play and give them lots of attention.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sandy

Sandy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sandy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're vaccinated and old enough for us to evaluate their temperament and personality, typically around 7-8 weeks.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $2,800 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC Registration (Limited, pet only!), first set of vaccinations, deworming, and a 1 yr health warranty. Once deposit is recieved all other parties will be turned down and puppy will be held for the new owner. If for some reason new owner doesn't like the puppy who they've placed a deposit on, then they will be able to pick another puppy from the litter if available or be first pick of the next coming litter.”

Sandy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Agouti DNA Test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
