I'm Lisa T., the breeder behind Sandbox Puppies located in Marionville, MO. I'm a home-based breeder of quality Bouvier des Flandres puppies! I have been raising AKC Bouviers since the '80s. This is a truly extraordinary breed with non-shedding/hypo-allergenic coats, intelligence, intuitive nature, and trainability. Their laid-back nature and gentle temperament make Bouviers an ideal family breed AND the best dog you will own - come see for yourself! All puppies are sold with limited registration(no breeding).

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of the Bouvier des Flandres. My dogs have brought me so much joy and happiness that I wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality pups and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others!

  • What makes your program special?

    My passion for this breed is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do. I carefully breed each litter with a focus on health, temperament, coat color, and conformation. Once pups are born, I lovingly hand-raise each and every one to ensure a reliable temperament and cherished companionship. I want nothing more than to see each and every one of my dogs and puppies shine!

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
