I'm Don J., the breeder behind Sandstorm Whippets located in Ocala, FL. I breed Champion race-type dogs. Preservation of the rare race bred fast Whippet and to continue this heritage line is my goal. My kennel has been awarded the Champion Breeder Foundation "Breeder of Excellence." Placement priority to homes that share this goal. This line excels as performance dogs. They run the fastest in the country. When not competing they are wonderful companions and couch potatoes. I devote my time, energy, and attention to each litter to ensure puppies get the best start in life. I take pride in what I do and look forward to connecting with you!

Why did you start breeding?
A consistent love for the Whippet breed and dog training encouraged the beginning of Sandstorm Whippets. I regularly participate in racing and lure coursing shows and started breeding to continue and improve upon my cherished line as well as preserve the Whippet for generations to come.What makes your program special?
At Sandstorm Whippets, we produce excellent companions. Our primary focus is top line racing Whippets. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. Our breeding dogs are CHIC and OFA certified in canine health to ensure quality pups. I take pride in raising well tempered and socialized Whippets who can excel in racing, luring, and as beloved companions.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Price includes: Veterinarian Health Certificate, AKC Registration, DNA Screening, Micro Chip, Deworming, Vaccinations (1st Round), Sandstorm Kennel Swag. Deposit is refundable. Deposit holds your puppy pick. Full pre-payment expected to take delivery subject to Health Certificate Exam results. If buyer cancels delivery full refund less 15%. This kennel prices picks via Dutch Auction.”
