I'm Denise F., the breeder behind Sapphire Sighthounds located in Derby, KS. I am a dedicated and responsible breeder of Borzois. We are proud of the quality of dogs we produce in our program. We look to place our puppies in the home that will be best suited for both them and the buyer.

Why did you start breeding?
It isnt something that I do lightly. I have bred two litters in 20 years.I chose to breed our Penny because she us such a lovely example of the breed in both temperament and conformation.It is our undying love for this breed that helped in that decision.
What makes your program special?
We screen all potential buyers and like to get to know them in order to place a puppy in their home. We do evaluations to decide which puppy will be placed in which home.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Denise may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy.
