I'm Ruby L., the breeder behind Sassy Schnauzers located in Carriere, MS. I love these puppies and I love to give people something to love to make apart of the family! We focus on the proper development of all our puppies because we know that each one is unique and deserving of undivided love and attention. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother-in-law did it for awhile. I study on all the breeds and was fascinated about the schnauzers. Growing up I always had poodles which are also very smart

  • What makes your program special?

    I work hard to have the healthiest and social puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Miniature Schnauzer puppies are black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ruby

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Ruby was great to work with, she answered all of our questions before and after getting our puppy. She guided us thru the Good Dog stages making everything so easy. Our little puppy is happy, healthy and playful and already loves car rides. Ruby obviously exposed her puppies to different sights and sounds since very little causes much alarm. The blanket with her littermates scent was so nice to have, it cut way down on the separation anxiety the first few nights.

    Ruby was so nice, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to my every question. Jesse is the sweetest boy and has brought such joy to my heart. After losing my 14 year old Cowboy, I was so heartbroken. Jesse has kept me busy and even though I still cry for Cowboy, Jesse has made my life great again. Ruby is a big part of it as Jesse is such a sweet smart boy. This experience was great all the way around! Good Dog made this possible and I would definitely recommend Ruby to anyone wanting a schnauzer.

    I found Sassy Schnauzers thru Good Dog. Ms. Ruby has been great from the beginning. She responded to me immediately. I was looking for a puppy. She gave me the date her litter was due and stayed in touch with me. Ruby notified me when they were born and sent pictures. She also gave me a date the babies would be ready for adoption. The weeks following she stayed in touch with me, providing pictures. I now have my baby girl and she’s beautiful and playful.
