I'm Mary S., the breeder behind Savage Sisters Basset Hounds located in Seminole, TX. The Savage Sisters are young entrepreneurs raising puppies from our AKC registered family pets, Hank & River. Our European Basset Hound dogs are raised on our farm & ranch in West Texas and have grown up with these little girls! Our puppies will be great additions to all types of families!

Why did you start breeding?
We bought a beautiful Basset Hound female when we lost our senior family dogs to old age. As she matured, we decided that she would be the perfect female to raise puppies with. We then found our male, Hank. He is BIG and oh so handsome! We intend on keeping our program small and manageable for our family! Both dogs were purchased from reputable breeders!What makes your program special?
This program is our three daughters! They are currently the ages of 3, 6 and 8– so we help them with different aspects of raising. However, we see this as a great opportunity for them to learn animal husbandry and simple business practices. When you support Savage Sisters Basset Hounds, know that you are supporting youth!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white and black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price will vary based on any unique markings and/or registration type. Deposit is non refundable but transferable to the next litter. Deposit goes towards the total cost of the puppy. Remaining balance is due at or before pick up.”
Contract & health guarantee
Mary may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. 100% European. Hank is a BRUTE! A big ol gentle giant! He’s never far from his human pack and keeps an eye on our daughters! There isn’t a mean bone in this dogs body. He is a goofy, playful, handsome boy. Hank is stout and rugged made. Lots of ticking!
