Meet the breeder

I'm Emily B., the breeder behind Scenic Creek German Shepherds and White Swiss Shepherds located in Bexar County, TX. I produce pups that have the ability to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I hand-raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Q. & A. with Emily

  • Why did you start breeding?

A little background about our dogs and kennel. We live a little outside of San Antonio, TX. We have 4 young children and 8 dogs, chickens and ducks. We spend the majority of out time outside with the animals, by the pool or exploring our ranch. We have always had German Shepherds, and can’t imagine life without them. In the last 4 years, I have become very passionate about breeding. Now that all my children are in school, it has allowed me to opportunity to pursue my hobbie breeding German Shepherds. I breed for health and temperament, and color is just “Icing on the cake”, if you will. We Embark test, Pennhip, OFA and or X-ray all of our breeding dogs prior to breeding to insure that they produce the healthiest puppies possible.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed because I LOVE DOGS and completely value their love and devotion to our family! I strive to raise puppies that will bring even half the amount of joy that our dogs give us! They are AMAZING animals that only shower us with love and loyalty!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our German Shepherd puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our German Shepherd puppies are white. Berger Blanc Suisse puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
